Marketing for Bremen
The Marketing and Tourism division
Bremeninvest provides an integrated marketing service that aims to promote Bremen as a location for inward investment and other activities including tourism. We act on behalf of various marketing stakeholders and network and coordinate their work as part of an umbrella brand strategy.
Our Marketing and Tourism division, which incorporates the departments ‘Marketing’, ‘Online’ and ‘Tourism’, is responsible for brand design, brand architecture and for promoting tourism to Bremen in Germany, Europe and around the world.
We channel public and private funds into high-profile ventures, fund cultural and sporting events, provide advice and support for projects, and develop marketing concepts for Bremen.
We have four main objectives:
- To develop the Bremen brand
- To increase the number of visitors to Bremen
- To raise the profile of the city
- To enhance the city’s image
We also function as a marketing agency for Bremen's authorities and institutions and are responsible for advertising Bremen in public spaces in the city.
Participation in key trade fairs
National and international trade fairs play a key role in the global marketing of Bremen as an investment location. Bremeninvest facilitates participation in these trade fairs on behalf of the regional government.
