Unternehmensservice Bremen – cutting through the red tape

Investing in Bremen

Nine services for start-ups and anyone else wanting to do business

Venture into self-employment or remain an employee? This is a question that many of us will have considered over the course of our career. What puts many people off is the thought of endless bureaucracy and the leap into the unknown. And when someone takes the decision to put their idea into practice, they often don’t know how or where to start: “Where do I go to register my business?”

Fortunately, Unternehmensservice Bremen has the answers to these questions – they are your companion on the path towards self-employment. They will help you to deal with official approval procedures, forms and funding for business start-ups and entrepreneurs. And all in one place: the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Chamber of Skilled Trades, business consultancy RKW, Bremen and Bremerhaven’s development bank BAB, and Bremeninvest are all under one roof in the centre of Bremen, ready to answer your questions on services, subsidies and business start-ups. They make it easy for you to cut through the red tape.

In this video, you will see nine ways in which Unternehmensservice Bremen can support you:

2. Less time spent on bureaucracy

You can register, deregister and change the details of your business with us. Acting as a single point of contact, we can assist you through the entire approval process, and once you have registered your business with us, you can take your certificate away with you without further delay. Once it has its stamp on it, you are ready to go.

3. Easier funding

Your objective is to make a profit, but setting up your own business always requires investment before the money comes rolling in. We can offer advice on funding for all development phases, from start-up to stock market flotation.
